Okay, y’all…We had to try it and Dalgona coffee is DEFINITELY as amazing as it looks 😍

This coffee is thick, creamy, and super easy to make at home. It’s honestly like a coffee milkshake 🤤 and you’ll never want your coffee any other way.⁣ Equal parts of instant coffee, sugar, and hot water, topped over your favorite non-dairy milk and you got a coffee you’ll never forget.

The Recipe

Let’s talk about the one thing first. Is this a healthy recipe? HA! No, it is definitely not the healthiest coffee out there. We use the same amount of sugar as coffee to make this Dalgona coffee so that’s your answer right there! However, is this probably the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life? 100%. This famous coffee recipe takes about 5 minutes, and if you don’t have a blender or handmade mixer/frother with DEFINITELY take some hard work, but you will have the biggest reward afterwards.

We recommend doing this in a large bowl, as it will make it easier to use a hand mixer. Also, this thing can make a mess if you aren’t careful with speed so just make sure to do this in a spot that’s easy to clean! If you do not have a hand mixer, using a whisk is just fine (and it’s also the cleanest way but takes the most work 😉 ) You want to watch the color change from a dark brown to light and super thick! It should have a thickness of slightly melted ice cream or cool whip. Once you’ve got that perfect consistency top it on your ice cold milk and stir. Your perfect Dalgona coffee is ready to be enjoyed.

The TikTok sensation is vegan and ready for you to try! Dalgona coffee is known as “fluffy” coffee, as it is whipped and has a similar texture to a milkshake when added to milk.


  • 2 tbsp instant coffee (we used Starbucks Colombian Instant Coffee)

  • 2 tbsp sugar (we love Zulka Sugar)

  • 2 tbsp hot water

  • Glass of any non-dairy milk (I HIGHLY recommend oat milk with this drink)


  • In a bowl or glass, whip coffee, sugar, and hot water with a whisk or hand mixer for about 5 minutes, until the mixture becomes a light brown, thick and fluffy!
  • Pour glass of non-dairy milk over ice and top with the fluffy coffee.
  • Drink with your favorite eco-friendly straw or like a milkshake!
